The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised Visiting Professor Lecture delivered by Prof. Anil Saigal, Tufts University, US during 15th – 16th Jan’20. Prof. Saigal is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tufts School of Engineering, Tufts University. He is currently the PI of the Research & Characterization of Composites and Polymer (RECCAP) Lab.
On his maiden visit to Adamas University, Prof. Saigal had elaborate interactions with the students and faculty group of the School of Engineering & Technology, AU. He emphasised on project based learning, and presented the project work undertaken by the under graduate students of Tufts School of Engineering. His inputs on the teaching-learning methodologies adopted at Tufts, and his expression of interest on possible cross-linking in the research domain opened up new avenues of networking and sharing of expertise.
