A monthly program on Summer Internship was organised by the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, in Adamas University, Kolkata on June-July, 2019.

The program was a brain child of the Department of Civil Engineering which has planned to bridge the gap between industry requirements and academics. The main objective of this initiative is to provide skill based training to the polytechnic and engineering students to cope up to the construction field requirements and become industry ready which makes them really feel employable. This program was to gain the importance of setting a set of ambitious but realistic goals for each of the interns, and working closely with them to realize these goals over the course of the internship.

The program started with the welcome address by Dr. T. Senthil Vadivel, HOD of Civil Engineering department. Dr. Amitava Mukherjee, Associate Dean of School of Engineering and Technology inaugurated the program and given his stimulating words unto students. Pradip Bhowmick, Director of School of Engineering and Technology, felicitated the gathering after giving a manifesting speech towards students.

n this monthly program, considering with daily 01 lecture each in morning and afternoon time, weekly total 12 lecture sessions was composed.
