With the guidance of the Head of the Department, Professor (Dr.) Anish Deb, Department of Electrical Engineering of the School of Engineering and Technology (SOET), the EE department successfully organised a technical seminar entitled Technical Seminar 2019 on November 6, 2019 in collaboration with the Students’ Chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India). The event was graced by the presence of Professor Shankari Prasad Ghosh, Dean of SOET.
Tushnik Biswas of 2nd year EE gave a presentation on Autonomous Fire fighting Vehicle and he shared a wide range of interesting information supported by model demonstration. Another student of 1st year EE, Aritra Das, delivered a lecture on Light Intensity Monitoring System supportred by model demonstration. Both the presentations ended with a question-answer session followed by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Avik Datta, an Assistant Professor of the EE Department. The programme ended with distribution of gifts as token of appreciation accompanied by certificates.
