The webinar started with the welcome address by Dr. T. Senthil Vadivel, HOD of Civil Engineering Department and emphasized the essentiality of Software and its application in Civil Engineering. As a convenor of the program, Professor Vadivel also enlightened the impact of civil engineers in the design sector. Mr. Tridib Pramanik, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department & coordinator of the program, introduced the guest speaker to all the attendees and gave a short speech on the same topic.
Mr. Biswanath Charan, resource person, has consented to be the chief guest and addressed the students about different software tools required to design modern day structures. He also discussed about the various subjects the need to be understood thoroughly to clear the concept before the going to design sector. The speaker boosted the spirit of the blooming students through the webinar by showcasing some excellent examples of great civil engineering designers and their creation and spoke about the prosperity of civil engineers in the design industry.
