Adamas University, as a core principle lays a lot of emphasis on holistic learning. The University believes that learning should not be restricted to four walls. To bring the immersive learning within the business students at Adamas, industrial visits are incorporated as part of the curriculum. Industrial visits bridge the gap between classroom theoretical training and practical learning in a real-life environment. The aim of these industrial visits is “Education – Exposure – Experience.”
The students went through the brand briefing and the organizational hierarchy presentation before having a detailed interaction with the Plant HR head. The Plant AGM – Product Management then gave a product and sectoral briefing to the students. It is worth mentioning that the Vice President of the Ceratizit manufacturing plant of Uluberia himself came down to provide industry briefing to the students. The students were then given a very enjoyable Plant tour by the manufacturing team and had a lively interactive session with the technical heads.
Adamas University and Ceratizit have agreed for Industry-academia collaboration where there will be Guest Lecture and Celeb Talk by Ceratizit on campus, Industry Visits and Summer Internship for Adamas B.Tech Mechanical Engineering students at Ceratizit plant. Ceratizit will also be assisting Adamas University in creating a Centre for Excellence.
