Dr. Sajal Saha is Professor, Department of CSE and Director, Product and innovation, Adamas University. Prior to that he was the Dean Research and Dean School of Computing Sciences, Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam.
Dr. Saha obtained PhD from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur in 2017. His title of thesis is “QoS and Mobility Management in WiMAX and other Next Generation Network”. He obtained Masters in Engineering (ME) with major in Information Technology from West Bengal university of Technology in 2007. He secured first class second position in ME and received silver medallion from the governor of West Bengal, for securing 2nd rank in overall order of merit.
He started his career as project trainee in the field of GIS and Remote Sensing at Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for 6 months in 2004. He then joined as lecturer in the department of computer application, Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India in August 2004. He worked at Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata for 12 years in the capacity of Lecturer, Senior lecturer and Assistant professor.
He has Seventeen years of professional experience in educational and research field. He contributed significantly in the area of Mobile computing for the last seven years. He published 40 papers in refereed international and national journals and conferences of repute. He authored 2 books titled “GIS and Remote Sensing: Applications in Flood Damage assessment” and “Mobility Management in IP based Network: Framework, Issues and Challenges” published by Lap Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany. He is the principal investigator of different AICTE and ASTEC funded projects. Total fetched grant is worth 16,50,000.
He was the president Institute Innovation Council- Kaziranga University. Under his leadership IIC-KU achieved top position in the northeast in 2020.He also the coordinator of KU-IBM joint BTech program in Kaziranga University.
