With the guidance of the Head of the Department, Professor (Dr.) Anish Deb, Department of Electrical Engineering of School of Engineering and Technology (SOET), the EE department of Adamas University successfully organised a technical seminar entitled Students’ Seminar 2019 on October 25, 2019 in collaboration with the Students’ Chapter of the Institution of Engineers (India).
The event was graced by the presence of the Dean of SOET, Professor Shankari Prasad Ghosh, and the Associate Dean of SOET and HOD of CSE Department Professor (Dr.) Amitava Mukherjee. Two 3rd year student members, Deborpita Saha and Trinanjan Bhattacharya, of the Students’ Chapter of participated in the event with animated energy and vigour.
Deborpita Saha gave a presentation on Solar Power and she shared a wide range of information with us. Trinanjan Bhaatacharya gave an elaborate presentation on Stepper Motors. Both the presentations ended with a question-answer session followed by vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Srimanti Roychoudhury, Faculty Advisor of the Students’ Chapter, IE(I) and Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering. The presentations were followed by distribution of gifts to the speakers as tokens of appreciation and certificates.
