Amongst the Mechanical Engineering Department under School of Engineering and Technology, Adamas University leads no doubt with its world class infrastructure both in terms of classroom and laboratories. The department offers state of the art education, well equipped workshop and research facilities for students to create, enable, apply and spread knowledge in the advanced field of Mechanical Engineering. In addition to classes, the Department organizes regular visiting lectures delivered by Industry Experts and arranges industrial visits for both faculty and students. PROGRAMS

B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering

The student can choose a regular B. Tech degree (in ME with duration of 4 years) (AICTE Approved). This includes minor and major projects (Capstone Project as well as courses on Emotional Quotient & Design). The program possesses a total credit of 165 covering all major subjects for GATE like Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Dynamics of Machine, Machine Design, Machine Drawing with AUTO CAD, Material Engineering, Mechanics of Materials and its corresponding lab (in the second year). In the pre-final year and final year courses like Machine tool Design, Metrology & Measurements, Major & Minor Project and a bundle of elective courses like Robotics, Automation, Piping Engineering etc are offered in this program.

Eligibility

  • 60% overall in 10+2 with PM + Chem/ BioTech/ Biology/Technical Vocational (with 45%).
  • Sc (45%) and 10+2 with Maths and to clear Engineering graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics or Diploma (45%)
